graphic designer (m/f)

Reckon is a fast-growing startup that helps retailers and other business areas to provide their customers checkout-free, ‘grab and go’ shopping experiences. Customers can pick what they want and leave without the need to go to a cashier or scan the products.
Reckon’s proprietary technology combines cloud AI algorithms — which are easily and quickly scalable without the need of on-site installations and product recognition — that automatically identify all products using their core characteristics and sensor combination — achieving higher accuracy in recognition and fraud prevention.
At the moment, Reckon is looking to establish a strong presence in Europe and the Middle East, working with well-known names in the retail world.

Your Role
We are looking for a creative, outside-of-the-box thinker that has experience in communication to continuously rebuild our brand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and to the CTO, the designer would play a key role in building the bridge between a disrupting tech company and customers or investors.

Produce consistently exceptional visual work, create and develop digital assets for a variety of channels and formats.
Come up with ideas for company branding, packaging, advertising, and presentations.
Keep up with the latest trends in art, typography, illustration, photography, and layouts.
Define and develop marketing assets with the marketing team according to our brand position and marketing strategy.
Help define communication calendars and trees in CRM tools.
Being able to easily sketch ideas, mockups, or prototypes.
Ability to work and support other departments (product, sales…).

Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills — and excellent communication and presentation skills.
Work independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include four or more simultaneous projects.
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.
A strong portfolio showcasing design work and asset creation – previous projects with startups or tech-related companies are a plus.
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in pitching bold, creative ideas.
Ability to understand business goals and translate them into visuals.
Experience working with CRM tools.
Video editing experience and post-production motion graphics are a plus;
Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
Be driven, flexible, and enthusiastic, bringing new inspiring ideas to the teams.
Listening and excellent communication skills – Good level of spoken and written English.
