junior graphic designer (hybrid)

We’re looking for a “Junior Graphic Designer” to join our Marketing team [Maia, Porto office].

As an online store that sells cosmetic, health, wellness, and beauty products worldwide, we communicate to a global audience through a wide range of media and advertising channels, which brings interesting challenges for a designer on how to engage customers and potential customers with interesting visuals.

You will focus primarily on producing pixel-perfect layouts for marketing campaigns such as landing pages, banners for the website, newsletters, layouts for social media, ads, and other platforms. You will also be creating and organizing visual resources and gathering design references, creating mood boards and storyboards. To succeed in this role, you must have the training and some experience in graphic design, experience with Adobe editing software, Figma as well as the ability to communicate in English.

This is a fast-paced, innovative environment and we are looking for people with a passion for design in daily life, up to date with trends, tech-savvy, and of course, familiar with cosmetics and beauty trends. You’ll be working with some of the biggest brands in the world and have an opportunity to learn from experienced and skilled colleagues. Our culture is all about continuous learning. As a Junior Graphic Designer in our company you will be responsible for:

Work within brand guidelines to deliver creative visuals that reinforce the brand’s style and voice
Digital design for various media – website, social media, newsletter, and ads
Design logos, icons, infographics, wireframes, mockups, and materials for presentations and events
Create and organize visual resources: images, stock photos, and video
Gather design references, create mood boards, storyboards and animatics to communicate ideas
Work collaboratively with the Marketing team and collaborate with multiple departments to generate ideas and concepts, across multiple project deadlines

Required Skills and Experience:

Degree in Design, or similar field
Prior work experience in Graphic Design (at least 1-2 years)
Good knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite Tools
Advanced skills in Illustrator & Photoshop
Experience with Figma
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Able to comfortably work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet deadlines
High level of autonomy and organizational skills
Detail-oriented, time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
Creative, innovative, and forward-thinking
Excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

General interest in cosmetics and keeping up with beauty trends on social
Knowledge of motions graphics
Knowledge of after effects
Knowledge of UX/UI
