Salt Technologies is a UK based company focused on delivering outstanding marine digital content. Our key 3D deliverables are still image renders, 3D animations and videos and Realtime Interactive Apps.
We are looking for talented freelance 3D artists.
As a 3D Artist, you will work closely with the Art Director and Project Manager to create beautiful content that tells our clients’ stories, with high visual standards.
You should have a good understanding and experience with high-quality 3D modelling, texturization, materials, light, camera, rigging, animation and rendering. You should also be able to develop and refine 3D artwork to reach an established defined rendering look, or develop one following the lead artist’s creative direction, combining a high-level of problem solving and creative-thinking skills.

– Experience as a 3D Artist
– Amazing time-management skills and ability to manage his/hers own time. Being able to perform autonomous work is essential.
– Creative with a very good eye for detail, able grasp our niche industry and learn with time.
– Work well in a team environment, ability to quickly become and act as a team member.
– Open and quick to react and adapt to feedback.
– We use 3Ds Max, Corona, V-Ray, Phoenix, Rhinoceros, Unity, Unreal, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Nuke, After Effects… You don’t need to be an expert in all but it is crucial to master some of them.
– Expert in any of modelling, texturing, rigging, scene assembling, animation, rendering, post-production or programing real-time apps using Unity or Unreal.
Work Place:
We use a flexible place of work model. We have people working from the UK, Russia, Serbia, Croacia, and Portugal at the moment. You are very welcome to take advantage of our Lisbon office (Portugal) but this is not mandatory. We value honesty, reliability and consistency. In exchange we are pleased to offer remote and flexible working.
Others:
a) Experience in the maritime industry or the marine environment is a bonus but not a must
b) Full-time integration might be a possibility in the future, if interested.
