Reckon is a fast-growing startup that helps retailers and other business areas to provide
their customers checkout-free, ‘grab and go’ shopping experiences. Customers can pick what they want and leave without the need to go to a cashier or scan the products.
Reckon’s proprietary technology combines cloud AI algorithms — which are easily and quickly scalable without the need of on-site installations and product recognition — that automatically identifies all products using their core characteristics and sensor combination — achieving high accuracy in recognition and fraud prevention.
At the moment, Reckon is looking to establish a strong presence in Europe and the Middle East, working with well-known names in the retail world, as a stepping stone to enable AI-Powered Shopping Experiences globally.

Your Role

We are actively looking for a creative, results-driven and hands-on Junior Content Manager to build and develop our fast-growing business, while creating, improving and maintaining high-quality content to achieve our business goals.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will:

● Be an integral part of designing and executing our overall marketing strategy
● Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing and commercial targets
● Create and publish engaging content, across multiple platforms (digital and non-digital)
● Help us constantly improve our website, through content, SEO and WordPress tools.
● Create engaging commercial presentations to prospective and existing clients
● Support in data metrics and analysis – always with an eye on practical improvements.
● Provide support in planning and executing our digital marketing strategy, including SEM,email, social media campaigns (including Linkedin) and PR.
● Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
● Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
● Collaborate with internal teams to create great experiences for potential customers.
● Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners


● BS/MS degree in marketing, communication, journalism or a related field
● Proven working experience as a content manager and in digital marketing
● Hands on experience with MS Office and WordPress
● Proven experience creating engaging commercial content and presentations
● Operational in SEO/SEM, email and social media (including Linkedin)
● Basic technical knowledge of HTML, WordPress and web publishing
● Knowledge of web traffic metrics and Google Analytics
● Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
● Excellent writing skills in English and Portuguese
● Good organizational and time-management skills
