Introduction:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious marketing executive to join our growing team. This role is a great opportunity for a candidate who has 1-2 years’ experience and is looking for the next step in their career, gaining knowledge across a number of marketing channels including digital. Key to being successful is focusing on delivering customer centric marketing plans linked to business growth, whilst supporting the promotion of postgraduate veterinary courses and qualifications globally.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support the development and implementation of online marketing campaigns to promote our courses and qualifications
– Manage e-mail marketing across our markets, including email creation, sending, A/B testing, automated communications and driving the adoption of best practices
– Manage our different social media platforms (scheduling, monitoring, and reporting) including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
– Support the marketing team with the organisation of industry events, both online and offline across different countries
– Own our competitor analysis and ongoing research of new market trends
– Ensure content and courses on our website are up-to-date, and support the content team with implementing SEO best practices
– Manage relationships with external partners such as veterinary bodies, event organisers and marketing suppliers

The ideal candidate will have:
– A degree in Marketing or Communications
– Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
– Proven experience (1-2 years) in digital marketing and social media management
– Thorough knowledge of the main social media platforms (and its management tools)
– Experience with CRM, email marketing platforms and social media scheduling
– Capacity to work under pressure and solve problems quickly and effectively
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with a positive, can-do attitude
– Proactivity, dynamism, and sense of responsibility
– Excellent organizational and creative skills
Desirable skills and knowledge:
– Good knowledge of Spanish or another European language
– Experience in SEO optimization
– Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, such as Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics
– Ability to define KPIs, set realistic targets and plans to achieve them
– Knowledge of the following platforms: WordPress, HubSpot, Project Management (Asana), Social Media Management (Swonkie or similar)
