ppc digital campaign manager & toy beta-tester



Hi! In this job, you will be paid to play with toys and you’ll find yourself surrounded by toys everywhere. We are not kidding! You are being hired by an educational and scientific toys brand after all. We do Rocket Science………….toys. Yes, you can finally say to others that think your job is easy that what you actually do is “Rocket Science”!

But don’t forget: you are being hired as a PPC Digital Campaign Manager. You will be managing Pay per Click campaigns to acquire customers that can pLay per click!

Science4you is expanding worldwide using its Online channels (own Online Store, Amazon and International Marketplaces) and we are looking for someone to support us with the Online Advertising campaigns management skills needed to boost Science4you online growth.

You’ll help Science4you to accomplish its mission of creating educational and scientific toys to improve education levels in society and allow children to learn while playing. Yes, what you’re thinking is correct: you finally found a company that does good for society!

This role is ideal for people that are always testing new ads, new copies, new placements, new bidding strategies, new landing pages, new customer acquisition approaches. This role is also perfect for people that want to test the limits of their skills in highly competitive markets (USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, etc.). If you are always looking to get as many conversions and conversion value as possible; if you are always learning, testing and improving your campaigns, you are very likely to be the right person for this job!

Tasks and Responsibilities if you want to play with us:
– You will define strategy, develop and manage PPC campaigns in different online channels (Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, …). Don’t worry, you’ll find enough people to target in your campaigns that want to play with a toy. How many people do you know that never had a toy? Exactly.
– You will do keywords & placements research and digital media planning. You will write ad copy and setup campaigns. The usual, something that you already do nowadays.
– You will test, test, test. Optimize, optimize, optimize. Grow, grow, grow. Learn and improve, learn and improve, learn and improve! This is serious, we are not kidding.
– You will provide inputs to optimize landing pages, product pages or any other page needed to make your campaigns succeed. Either on our Online Store or our Amazon store (and other international marketplaces). You can even improve the toys themselves! This is the part you get excited about!
– You will analyze, monitor and report campaigns results and performance, providing insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
– Did we already mention that you will test, test, test. Optimize, optimize, optimize. Grow, grow, grow. Learn and improve, learn and improve, learn and improve!
– Implement A/B and multivariate tests to maximize conversions and conversion value.
– Identify low to zero competition opportunities that only a few (or no one) have done yet in terms of Online Ads. We are always developing toys that no one ever thought of before so you should bring that mindset to our digital campaigns as well.
– We probably forgot to tell you before but you will test, test, test. Optimize, optimize, optimize. Grow, grow, grow. Learn and improve, learn and improve, learn and improve!
– You will cooperate with team members from R&D, Design, IT (and others) to create international campaigns that will outperform Science4you competitors in markets such as USA, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, etc. You better be a nice person to work with or we may have an explosive reaction! It’s just a joke, people don’t explode here. The toys sometimes do!
– Last but not least, you’ll do something that you have never heard of before: you will test, test, test. Optimize, optimize, optimize. Grow, grow, grow. Learn and improve, learn and improve, learn and improve!
– You will also do Quantum Physics, work on Einstein Theory of Relativity and Electromagnetism. Just kidding! You won’t do this, we have a team of scientists to do that.

Requirements:
– You are always learning and improving your PPC campaign skills and digital marketing knowledge. We believe that “When you stop learning you start dying”. Brain is like a muscle – the more it is used, the stronger it gets.
– You failed “big time” in the past. The landing page URL was incorrect? Did you overspend the campaign budget? Did your “great testing idea” fail miserably? Great! No great success was ever achieved without failure.
– You achieved great results! We are looking for winners that developed highly successful campaigns. And please don’t tell us that your best KPI ever was to achieve +50% in clicks. We wish that clicks would be the same as sales.
– You are half analytical, half creative. You should know all about ROAS, ACOS, Conversion Rate, LTV and all the other digital metrics. You need to easily solve our “Maths Challenge” toy (this toy is real, we made it for kids 6+ years old). At the same time, you are known as the “crazy person” that thinks of creative ways to achieve outstanding campaign results.
– You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing online advertising campaigns in at least 1 of these channels (Amazon Ads and/or Google Ads). 2 years, 730 days. What if you only have 721 days of experience? You can apply as well. We may have scientists but this is a toy company after all. We play with Science and Maths.
– You are a “citizen of the world”. You may be portuguese, spanish, french, english, german, it doesn’t matter. We distribute educational toys worldwide and we develop digital campaigns for different countries. You should at least understand English (if you read this far, we bet you do).
