VideoSmart is a multi-award-winning video technology company, specialising in personalised and interactive videos. Our client base includes some of the largest companies in the UK, all using VideoSmart’s services to achieve a range of marketing and servicing objectives.

We are looking for a new UX/UI Designer to join our team in Porto, responsible to work on our broad variety range of video creative assets.
Responsibilities:
Create assets for campaigns and in-app content
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate functionality
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Evaluate UI/UX design throughout the development cycle and support the development team where required
UX briefs and prototypes for dev team to build from
Use a combination of data and user feedback to refine and optimise screens and interactions
Requirements:
Portfolio of design projects
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Familiarity with design software (such as XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma)
Experience working with developers
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
Working on a range of design pieces, from social media posts to storyboards and branding projects is a plus
