If you answered yes to all of the above, then you are a perfect candidate for Taste Porto’s Customer Service Chef!

Taste Porto’s Customer Service Chef will be responsible for:
1. Customer support via email and telephone, which includes:
– answering questions about Taste Porto’s products;
– helping guests with suggestions about Porto;
– arranging private tours;
– and, essentially, helping our guests fall in love with Porto in any way, shape or form!

2. Management of the booking system for the whole company;
3. Respond to customer reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp;
4. Build sustainable relationships with travel agencies and other key players;

5. Being the first line of interaction with non-customer inquiries, which could include:
– Potential partnership requests;
– Bloggers;
– Media inquiries;
– And more!

6. And all sorts of random bits and bobs from identifying a printer for new brochures or booking restaurants for our guests to many more things.

Getting excited? Great! Here are the essentials:
– Excellent written and spoken English – the majority of our customers are native English speakers so this is an absolute necessity!
– Being fluent in Portuguese is a plus
– A love for Porto and its food – our team is made up of totally different backgrounds, but the common denominator is this love
– Must reside in Porto
– Experience in customer service situations, specifically written or telephone support is an advantage
– A willingness to go the extra mile, give more information, and ensure guest satisfaction at every turn – we are unwavering in our belief in exceptional customer service
