Our work
OCUBO is an international reference in Video Mapping and Interactive Projections with projects in Australia, Singapore, Japan, Israel, Germany, Holland and others.
From Concept to Exhibition, OCUBO provides all the in-between stages including content creations, 3D animations, illustrations, motion design, video mapping and Interactive application development.
The domains of expertise are as well artistic as commercial, with a stress on interactivity and participatory installations.

With a small, talented team and based in Oeiras, we feel like we’re in a great position to tackle new challenges. You will play a key role in shaping and animating OCUBO’s awesome video mappings and installations – with amazing and attractive visual proposals. Integrated in the Multimedia team, alongside with other awesome animators, you’ll work closely with all Multimedia department.
Despite the scale of our work, we’re small and friendly, with strong shared values. We get on well and enjoy spending time together, whether working in the office, chatting over lunch, or out for activities after work. Main Responsibilities
Develop concept and design large format layouts (for video mapping), storyboard and script
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and budget
Ability to work with a client (internal and external) to develop a concept and a script/storyboard
Presenting skills internally as for external clients
Animation and Motion design (for video and video mapping)
2D & 3D integration
Responsible for researching, developing, and recommending new art/tech to help push the studio quality bar forward (encompasses the whole team)
Main Requirements
8+ years of professional animation experience
Strong Animation skills (imperative)
Extremely Creative
Strong Aesthetic Sense
Strong Visual Culture
The desire to push the limits of technology and interactive video mapping
Teamwork
Strong notions on how to search for particular images / aesthetics / visual themes on the web
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven organizational and time management skills
A passion for excellence and attention to detail
Skills Required
The fullest understanding of Digital Animation and Motion Graphics standards is essential.
Experience to execute projects of all sizes, and complete them with resourcefulness and dedication
The ability to keep a cool head and meet deadlines
Problem solving skills
The ability to think creatively and deliver clever concepts
Meticulous attention to detail
Knowledge Required
After Effects – Advanced Level (imperative)
Photoshop – Advanced Level (imperative)
Illustrator – Middle Level (imperative)
3D (C4D, 3DS MAX) – Advanced Level (preferencial)
