Summary
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 1 – 5 years of professional experience to help us build our traffic and road management product.
The stack we use is React for front-end development and Java for back-end development. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can work with both, but we’re open to candidates with only front-end experience (with React).
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working to improve our traffic management platform, creating new modules and features.
Our software engineers are split across several teams: 2 of the core teams are Product/Web, which are responsible for developing the web application architecture.
The teams are cross-functional and composed of a team lead, a designer, a QA analyst and a few software engineers. We’re currently hiring for both teams.
We follow the Scrum methodology with 3-week sprints.
In this role you will:
Create complex web applications with React (or Java + React)
Collaborate in a cross-functional team and support QA Engineers and Product Owners in meeting the requirements goals.
Discuss problems and achieve solutions in unbureaucratic ways with the team as well as with top management.
What we’re looking for
1-5 years of experience as a software engineer
Experience with React and/or Java would be ideal
You are familiar with PostgreSQL, HTTP Protocol, Design Patterns, Simple Design, and RESTful Services
You are highly motivated, keen to learn, and eager to make an impact
You have excellent communication skills, team spirit, and high-quality standards set for yourself and the work you produce
Working level of English communication
