Job Overview
We’ve got an amazing long-term opportunity for a Still-Life/Product Photographer to join the team! The position will be from approximately November 2022 to July 2023. The studio photographer should expect 40 hours of work per week. The candidate should also be available to work in our Lisbon facilities in Marvila with the Image Team a minimum of three days a week and edit remotely when possible and suggested by the head of department.
All material necessary to perform your work is available at kencko’s image studio: camera, multiple lenses, light equipment, laptop, and adobe creative cloud account.
Responsibilities
Reports to the head of the department
To deliver still photography that meets the brand’s high standards and looks consistent across the website, social media channels, and print outputs
Be able to interpret briefings quickly, problem solve and implement changes under the Image team’s guidance and best practices
Be able to navigate projects from start to finish by ensuring light settings, style props, shoot, and post-edit the footage
Carry out all the post-production and retouching necessary to guarantee the expected result
Apply crop guidelines to adapt, resize, and output iterations for multiple channels, aspect ratios, and uses (website, social media, paid acquisition, and print)
Establish and maintain consistent communication with different collaborators within the creative service agency to keep shoot calendars up to date and ensure deadlines are respected
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Photography or similar experience
5+ years experience and proven ability to photograph autonomously in a studio
A strong product and still-life photography portfolio is required
Expert proficiency with Capture One and Adobe Photoshop
A natural problem solver
Available to work remotely when needed
A good level of spoken English and/or Portuguese is appreciated
