Demium is a talent investment company founded in Spain in 2013 with the aim of supporting the best professionals and helping them to carry out successful projects, always with an eminently digital and technological component. In November 2020, Demium’s asset management company, Demium Capital, started operating with a first €50M fund to invest in more than 75 early-stage startups per year (pre-seed/seed), becoming the most active venture capital fund in Southern Europe. The company is present in four countries: Spain, Portugal, Poland and Ukraine.

*Your Goals as a PR Analyst Intern*
You will be part of the Global Communication Team and collaborate with our Portugal external press agency to achieve the following goals:
– Raise awareness of Demium to drive talented individuals to join our Incubation & Acceleration Programmes to get potential investors interested;
– Develop Demium’s local voice and face in Portugal, positioning the company as one of Portugal’s top incubators and early-stage VC;
Responsibilities
– Media monitoring: keep the media list fresh and updated by monitoring the sector,
competitors and startups where Demium has invested
– Localize and adapt Spanish press releases, interviews, and op-eds to attract the interest of the Portuguese press
– Translate into Portuguese all the media-facing materials (eg press releases, pitches, written interviews, op-eds, etc.)
– Pitch and follow up with the media to share Demium’s announcements and manage interview opportunities
– Create an awards list for Demium in Portugal
