Great opportunity to earn an income on the side!

Khula is a wearable art handbag label, see www.khulawear.com that was featured at the Cape Town Fashion Week.

Khula’s Founder is Mo, a Dutch entrepreneur living in Lisbon. The candidate would be working closely with Mo.

Role

A sales agent to sell the bags – to city stores, at markets, beach stores.

The role is remote, and you would be working independently, in charge of the client management, administration and deliveries.

There will be a weekly check-in with Mo, either live or via video call.

Payment

The payment is commission-based: based upon a revenue split between you and Khula of 50% 7 50% (normally, a sales agent would earn between 8 and 15%).

This means that with a sales to a store you would earn approx 10 EUR per bag, and at a market up to 30 – 40 EUR per bag.
The stock size to sell is 300 to 400 bags.

Travel expenses are reimbursed.

– Creating a list of stores to contact
– Contacting stores by email and by visiting
– Stock delivery
– Client management
– Sales at markets
– Administration

Timelines and hours

The role is fully flexible in terms of hours: you can work according to those hours that suit you.

The role is part-time estimated weekly hours are 16 hours (2 days) per week, including sales at markets.

The role is starting immediately: from mid May, for at least 3 months.

Skills

The ideal candidate:
– is based in Lisbon
– enjoys and is excellent at sales
– works in a structured and organized manner
– is reliable and self-motivated
– is fluent in English
– has experience with market sales (for example the LX Sunday market)
– is excited about learning about entrepreneurship
– has a passion for sustainable fashion.
