DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
Subsea 7 Lisbon office is looking for designers CAD to join the Drafting department.
Reporting to Drafting Team Lead, the Designer CAD is accountable for supporting the drafting activity in Engineering team. The Designer CAD will be based in Portugal, Lisbon.
We are looking for a young professional that will prepare sketches using Autocad and Inventor software, in order to support the engineering team in preparing vessel decks layouts.
All personnel are required to develop and foster a positive HSEQ culture throughout Subsea 7, and drives HSEQ performance and to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to the Code of Conduct.
SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Prepare 2D/3D storyboards and subsea installation sketches using Inventor / Autocad software
Prepare 2D detailed fabrication drawings of steel structures and piping (P&IDs / Isometrics) using Autocad / Inventor software
Prepare vessels deck layouts together with the engineers
Conduct self-check on drawings / sketches
Drafting checks on other work in the CAD Group
AUTHORITY/DIMENSIONS
Operate within the Business Code of Conduct
Operate according to Subsea 7’s Management Principles
Support standards and procedures for the Human Resources Function

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Technical education preferably related to civil and structural engineering, including courses within CAD Design
No previous experience required if the technical background training is proved
Trained in the use of Autocad 2D / 3D software
Trained in the use of Inventor 3D Software (can be plus)
Good level of English is mandatory
Positive and proactive attitude
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise and organise work
Strong detail-oriented, resourceful and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi discipline environment
