YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Web Development and Platform Building – You conceptually develop our internet platform and are a driving force in its implementation, contributing to Valyria’s success by building a strong technical foundation
Software Engineering and Quality Assurance – you ensure that the software you write always has a high code quality, and deliver a high level of test coverage, security and performance
Teamwork and Initiative – You work in your cross-functional team with UX designers, product managers and other engineers, actively participating in product discussions and code reviews to find solutions together
Agile Work and User-Centeredness – you and your colleagues create added value for our customers through frequent, iterative releases
YOUR PROFILE
Experience and Technical Expertise – You have many years of practical experience in setting up internet platforms with Ruby on Rails as well as Javascript, HTML and CSS. Ideally, you are an expert in the application of modern technologies and frameworks such as Typescript, React, GraphQL and Apollo
Architecture Understanding and Best Practices – You feel at home with the components and interactions within software systems as well as common methods of software development and testing
Passion and Willingness to Learn – you are particularly passionate about the Ruby ecosystem and strive to constantly develop your skills, look for meaningful work content and take responsibility from your own initiative
Language – Your spoken and written English is fluent
