The role
In this role, you’ll draw on all aspects of your design skills as you shift between product design, interaction design, and visual design projects to design a great user experience for our customers. And you’ll help elevate your team’s work by engaging in regular, constructive feedback sessions as you iterate and collaborate on defining the best possible solution through a rapid growth environment.
We’re seeking a confident designer who backs up design decisions with well-thought-out rationale and is just as comfortable leading projects as they are supporting them.
You will work closely with the product and engineering team to design a great user experience, focusing on making social impact tools.
What you’ll do
Create a range of deliverables, from low to high-fidelity UI, icons, and prototypes to written process and documentation;
Improve the design of our existing products, helping to create a cohesive, fresh look to our platform offering;
Develop strong brand understanding to design for multiple platforms, including web apps and mobile apps
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and collaborate with Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Marketers;
Help develop a thorough understanding of customers’ goals and how our product can best support them;
Work within an established design system while contributing to its evolution – crafting consistent, high-quality designs that are highly aesthetic and easy to use;
Tell compelling stories with a solution-selling approach when sharing designs and decisions with internal teams, partners, and senior leadership;
Contribute to the culture of a small and growing design team.
Who you are
You live within the Brazilian or Portuguese timezone (UTC-3 to UTC+1)
You have at least six years of proven experience in Product Design, well experienced in designing a multitude of products at a consumer or SaaS product company;
Excellent communication skills;
Fluent or proficient in English, both written and spoken;
You have a positive, collaborative attitude with a passion for design excellence;
You can identify when to optimize for speed and when to seek quality and hone into the details;
Have an intense curiosity for the latest in product design, and consider yourself innovative in visual design;
Have a portfolio of product features you’ve helped build from the ground up;
You are comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems into actionable and discrete projects;
Think creatively beyond the given scope to recognize other opportunities to improve product design;
Are an independent and entrepreneurial product thinker;
You have worked alongside designers of varying skill sets, understand your opportunities to grow with humility, and are eager to continue growing/learning.
It will be a nice plus if you have
Experience using Jira, and Confluence (but not required).
