Overview & Responsibilities
Doppio is looking to hire a Senior Web UI/UX Designer to help us develop and operate the next generation of party games for play over video conferencing.
In this role, you will:
Design web application interfaces for our online gaming platform, which will enable our customers to connect and play games with others over video conferencing
Produce high-quality, detailed interface mockups and other written and visual design documentation to guide the entire team’s efforts
Work with producers to ensure that designs encompass all business needs, and with front-end and back-end engineers to achieve implementation of designs
Help define, monitor, and analyze metrics and analytics needed to validate that the design is working for our customers
Required Skills
5+ years of UI/UX design experience
Prior experience designing complex, responsive web applications across popular PC and mobile web browsers
Ability to solicit and incorporate feedback in an iterative prototyping process
Ability to work on a team with engineers, designers, and developers
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with the Unity game engine
Familiarity with commonly-used web application frameworks, such as React
Experience making and distributing web-based games
Experience with common design and diagramming tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and Miro
Experience with graphic design
Location
This role is for our Lisbon office.
Note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Lisbon office is currently closed. This role may therefore initially require remote work, depending on public health conditions in Portugal at the time you start.
