junior android developer
We’re looking for a junior developer to build Android apps with us at Bloco.
There’s no hard-requirements in terms of experience, but here’s our order of preference:
Some Android development experience
Some Mobile development experience
Or any development work experience
Role:
Develop Android applications for clients
Advise clients on Android best practices
Help design Android apps
Build our own products
Organize community events
Organize training workshops

How would your week at Bloco be
Start on Monday with a breakfast weekly planning meeting
2-3 days building Android apps for clients with a senior engineer
1 day working on internal projects like Envelop and Large Text
1 day learning new development skills
Once a week we all go out for a team lunch
Finish the week sharing what all team members have done and what we can improve next week
Notes:
This is not a full-remote position. At least half the time should be spent at our office in Coimbra.
We want to make Bloco as diverse as possible, so we’ll prefer someone with a different background from ours.
