The opportunity:
We are looking for a talented Designer to support our design & marketing department. This person will report directly to the main designer and will help create innovative and impactful assets across digital and print. The role will involve primarily working with key stakeholders to help deliver creative and engaging collateral for campaigns, initiatives and projects that help to educate and inspire veterinary professionals globally, and to also help build internal and external brand advocacy.
You will be responsible for executing a brief from start to finish, working closely with stakeholders to deliver engaging and impactful assets that reflect our brand.

Key responsabilities:
Develop and deliver different assets following our brand guidelines:
• Engaging digital assets for digital campaigns (Facebook, Google Ads), email and web
• Design exhibition stands and assets for in-house and external events
• Printed collateral – deliver design support for editorial/publishing media, print advertising including brochures, leaflets, flyers and advertisements
• Support the IT department with mock-ups and prototypes for our websites
• Create templates and assets for our email tool
• Contribute to new ideas and approaches for the design of teaching and learning materials
• Work with various media types such as digital, printing, motion graphics
• Be a brand guardian: live and breathe the Improve International brand

Skills/Requirements:
• 3 or more years’ experience in a design role
• Strong knowledge in design and print specifications
• Strong sensibility of UI and UX best practices
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Strong communications skills
• Creativity and ability to come up with new ideas and approaches
• Experience of designing and producing multimedia content including print, web
• A strong, varied portfolio of well-executed design work, including designs for campaigns running across multiple platforms
• Excellent time management
• Self-motivated and resilient – able to solve problems and perform under pressure
• Able to build relationships and communicate effectively
• Flexible working hours to meet deadlines

Tools:
• Pro efficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Xd, Acrobat)
• Pro efficiency motion graphics (After Effects)
• Strong skills in video editing (AfterEffects, Premier)
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

The following would be beneficial:
• Advanced knowledge in editorial design (magazines, catalogues, leaflets, flyers)
• Experience working with project management platforms (Asana)
• Knowledge of HTML
• Experience with WordPress and Mailchimp
• Knowledge in animation (After Affects) and video editing (Premiere)
