Over the last decade Further Learning has grown to encompass a number of international academies offering a variety of fully accredited classroom-based and home-study courses to students around the world.
The Company is headquartered in Dublin Ireland and is currently looking for a new member to join our Team in Porto.

Role Overview
The Further Learning Group are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and implement a cohesive digital-first marketing strategy that will lead to significant and sustained growth.
The Senior Marketing Manager will provide vision and leadership for the strategic development of the Further Learning Groups digital presence across the globe, ensuring the delivery of an excellent, stimulating, and innovative digital experience to all our prospect and stakeholder audiences.
In a highly competitive environment where prospective students are bombarded with choice, we need to a provide sector leading experience for all our audiences, utilising the latest multi-channel communication tactics and technologies.
As an expert in your field, you will lead the enhancement and growth of our digital presence through the continuous improvement of our online user experience, content and marketing channels including PPC, email and social.
Throughout, you will drive the FLG Academy brands forward through all communications and channels – maximising reputation, recruitment and reach amongst our key audiences.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you should have in-depth marketing experience and a specific skill set for digital technologies. You will be an experienced people manager who is comfortable working with remote employees, outsourcing and internal teams to ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels. You will also be a proficient project manager and experienced in stakeholder management.
Ultimately, you should be able to drive all digital marketing efforts to achieve our business growth objectives across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build our digital marketing strategy, aligned to our business growth plan
• Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, Google Ads, blogs, email marketing and social media) to ensure brand consistency
• Measure ROI and KPIs
• Develop and manage outsource partner relationships
• Prepare and manage significant spend on marketing budgets
• Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
• Oversee our social media accounts
• Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
• Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment
• Lead and develop our small digital marketing team to achieve business growth goals
• Produce competitor analysis to drive business growth
• Support the Senior Leadership Team with new market opportunity data
• Stay up to date with digital technology developments

Experience and skills required:
• Excellent written and research skills to an academic level (Degree, or above)
• 5+ years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or Digital Marketing Coordinator incl. significant budget and people management
• 10+ years’ experience in digital marketing incl. managing websites, content, social, PPC and SEO
• Experience of working collaboratively to create a cohesive digital strategy
• Fluency in English is essential with a minimum level overall band score of 7 or 8 IELTS or C1 Cambridge English
• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
• Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function
• Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
• Experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, CRM software and marketing automation platforms

• Communicate effectively and at all levels, be it at board level, with colleagues or suppliers
• Able to source and manage suppliers, develop and maintain good working relationships to deliver requirements in accordance with budgetary thresholds to achieve value for money
• High level of personal responsibility, and be able to establish and initiate own work and set own objectives and milestones
• Capable of advising and offering objectives for others
• Ability to suggest and develop creative ideas and treatments for online content (such as video, copy, images) for multi-channel campaigns
