Job description
wetheknot is looking for a marketing professional to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal.
As Marketing Manager, you will be an active member of the team and play a key role in the development of the brand. You will be working with the Communication Department, developing and executing wetheknot’s marketing and communication strategies both on a national and international level.
We are a small team who just started to grow and we are looking for someone who sees value in working in a young and rapidly-changing environment.
The position is based at our office in Lisbon, Portugal and has an immediate start.
We are open to consider full-time / part-time / freelancer applications and we will evaluate the possible position based on the candidate’s experience and skills.

Responsibilities
– Create, develop and manage a cohesive marketing and communication strategy;
– Increase the authenticity of the brand, extend our reach and build awareness;
– Contribute with knowledge from the marketing and communication area, such as techniques, tools and platforms;
– Set clear objectives, deliver results and follow-up;
– Further develop wetheknot as a modern, international player in the digital fashion / lifestyle / design market;
– Conceptualize, produce and execute creative content for all platforms, in collaboration with the team;
– Ensure consistency across all touchpoints globally;
– Oversee and lead all PR and press office activities, and manage our reputation in the media;
– Develop and execute a dynamic press and media plan to support collection and product launches;
– Seek out new marketing opportunities such as commercial partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations that will increase reach and amplify brand perception.

The ideal candidate
– Background and previous experience in marketing for fashion or design businesses;
– Experience in leading and developing a strong marketing strategy with a focus on expansion, preferably within a similar fashion / design / lifestyle brand;
– Understanding of both digital and physical marketing landscapes;
– Experience in PR, social media and content;
– Strong organizational, analytical & critical skills;
– Business and results-oriented;
– Ability to work strategically, independently and as part of a team;
– Competent in building and developing relationships, both internally and externally;
– Passionate about wetheknot as a brand with a deep comprehension for its visual aesthetics and its philosophy;
– Fluent in English.
