UOL BoaCompra is the gaming and payment service of UOL, the No. 1 media company in Brazil and a major internet company in Latin America.
We are currently looking for two developers to join our European team based in Lisbon.
The developer will be responsible for creating and improve the appropriate tools for website’s and payments platform’s backends.
Both developers will report to the European Director and Director of IT.
Responsibilities
Independently support and further develop existing external collaborations;
Provide support to the business development and sales team;
Monitor profitability of existing collaborations as well as management of the profit-related activities;
Drive the structuring and design of business collaborations and implement the agreed upon partnership models and concepts.
Requirements
Degree in computer science (Master or PhD preferred);
Extensive knowledge and experience in Object-oriented PHP, HTML, MySQL, HTML and CSS;
Extensive knowledge and experience in Scrum;
Passion for gaming and background in the online gaming industry;
Previous experience within game developer or publisher;
Fluent in Portuguese (CEFR C2) and English (CEFR C2);
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude;
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic and young environment with significant responsibility.
Pluses
Fluent in Spanish (CEFR C2) or German (CEFR C2);
Deep understanding of video gaming industry;
Experience with online content creation and publishing.
