Our www.homeaway.pt website needs an energetic and talented individual to support and expand its success on the internet.
HomeAway.pt is part of HomeAway, Inc, the world's most complete marketplace of vacation rental properties, representing over 250,000 vacation rental homes, villas, apartments, guesthouses, cottages, and cabins in over 100 countries.
This is a home based position for which you will need to work a maximum of 15 hours per week. Reporting to our Market Lead, you will need to be available for a weekly hour phone call in order to be briefed about your workload for the week to come and to reflect on your production from the week just passed.
Research, prospect and administer the Link exchange programme and process ethically
• Perform Keyword research; ensuring that the site is set up correctly for on and off page optimisation
• Market researches, benchmarking
• Formal reporting on your work on a weekly basis (objectives & template reporting will be provided)
• Verify translations and assist with the sites ongoing development
On the job training will be provided for successful applicants
Personal Attributes Required:
• Will preferably live in Portugal – not mandatory
• Must be a native speaker or been a resident of that country for a significant number of years
• Must be a proficient internet user (e.g. navigating websites and conducting extensive web searches)
• Must be a proficient Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must have own internet capable PC with broadband internet connection, VOIP connection for low-cost calls (ie. Skype) and Microsoft office package
• Must be highly organised, detail oriented and pro-active
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ideally, but not mandatory, some SEO experience
• Ideally, but not mandatory, experience in building websites, and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
