Job Title: Marketing Assistant
We are looking for one *star marketing assistant* for our team at GuestCentric Systems. This is a full-time position in a fast paced and exciting development environment.
You will be part of the core team that is responsible for:
· Creating the GuestCentric brand
· Project manage innovative marketing concepts and programs to differentiate GuestCentric from the competition
· Support in administrative tasks

GuestCentric Systems is an innovative early stage start-up that develops web-based applications targeting international travelers and the hospitality industry.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in related fields with at least 2 years of directly related experience or training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
* Good written, oral, and presentation skills in English.
* Enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility and a desire to work on an innovative team. This position calls for someone with a great imagination, willingness to set new trends.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (we are a startup!) and manage multiple competing projects simultaneously. Ability to deal with pressure and work within tight deadlines. Must be available to work extended or unusual hours, attend events overseas or late night events in town.
* Self-motivated, comfortable working independently. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Must have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail. Meticulous planning is required. Events will occur that require months of planning and development.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited procedures exist.
* Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to manage vendors and budgets. Good phone skills.
* Experience/Interest in Internet media, publishing, software development, marketing and sales.
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
* Working knowledge of web-based applications (Salesforce.com preferably).
Responsibilities
* Develop and coordinate Trade Show and Seminar events, worldwide. Hands on work involving the preparation of displays, equipment and marketing media. Design, edit, proofread, print, package media and equipment, ship, track, travel to/from location, coordinate team and travel, assemble and put final touches. Coordinate daily event schedule.
* Assists in the development of promotional strategies and product development.
* Prepare Event Agenda, Invitations, Registration Forms and Payments/Refunds tracking for Customer events.
* Develop care packages for company employees that embark on long term projects.
* Develop media packs and giveaways for trade shows and conferences.
* Serves as liaison between the company and advertising agencies, freelance talent, print suppliers, and other marketing services.
* Company Newsletters, Prepare Press Releases and Event Announcements.
* Update Company News and Headlines in the corporate website.
* Provide administrative and personal support to Management, including running errands, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing agendas and appointments.
* Generate form letters for mass brochure mailings to prospective customers, including thank you letters and trade show passes.
* Validate and fulfill Request for Marketing Information. Track requests and mailings.
* Track prospective contacts, seminar attendees, event revenues and expense tracking.
* Responsible for Media and Marketing Event Budgets. Manage and track the expenses for each event. Ensure budget is managed properly.
* Arrange preparatory meetings for Seminar Events and Trade Shows.
* Coordinate Catered Events for Customer Visits and Staff Events including: Dinners, Luncheons, Beach Parties, Picnics, Happy Hours, Clubs, etc…
